Director Dan Norman was born in Cambridge and moved to Birmingham for University.

Having graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1993, he followed a career in managing promotions, entertainment and nightclub events. This was primarily as a contractor working with national operators in the UK’s largest Nightclub Venues. This initial activity involved events in up to 13 cities with the purchase of Vodbull UK Ltd in 2001. This was by Norman Holdings previous guise, the swiftly named DCN Promotions Ltd.

Having first ventured into property in 1997 and becoming an “accidental landlord”, property activity has grown into a range of both residential and commercial properties. Personal and company residential portfolio includes single let, commercial, HMO and Supported Accommodation.

To date over 70 refurbishment projects have been completed from 4 week, cosmetic £100k “flips” to 13 month significant refurbishments up to £1M in GDV. These more substantial projects have involved challenges of planning, conservation and environmental consultation.

Norman Holdings is a keen advocate of continuing education, both on a personal and professional basis. Having graduated in 2014 from Simon Zutshi’s 12 month Property Mastermind course, Dan also qualified in Neurolinguistic Programming, Hypnosis and Time Line Therapy. Dan is now active in the Property Investors Network (pin) as host of the Birmingham Central pin meeting and Mastermind Xtra events, along with recently being President of St Paul’s Club, a Birmingham Private Members Club founded in 1859.

Alongside business, Norman Holdings has a pride in being based in the West Midlands – “Born in Cambridge, made in Birmingham” could be an appropriate tag line.
